Top Business Finance Apps on Android in Malta: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of business finance and solutions apps on the Android platform in Malta showed varied trends. This analysis highlights the weekly downloads and revenue metrics for the top five apps, providing insights based on data from Sensor Tower.

Revolut Business saw a fluctuating download pattern, starting with 34 downloads and peaking at 93 in mid-January. The numbers then tapered off slightly, closing the quarter with 59 downloads. Despite these download figures, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

For BillUp: Easy Invoice Maker, there was a notable peak in downloads in late January with 114, after which the numbers gradually declined to 37 by the end of March. Similar to Revolut Business, BillUp did not record any revenue.

PayPal Business maintained a relatively steady download rate throughout Q1 2025, with figures hovering around the mid-40s. The app, however, did not report any revenue during this time.

BOV mobilePOS experienced an initial increase in downloads, reaching 61 in mid-January, before experiencing a decline to just 7 by the end of the quarter. Like the others, it did not generate any revenue.

Lastly, Accounting App - Zoho Books showed a steady increase in downloads, starting from 18 and climbing to 28 by the end of March. The app also recorded a modest revenue, peaking at $3 in mid-March.
